RIPCORD trial presented at European meeting by Professor Curzen

Professor Curzen presented his RIPCORD trial at one of the late breaking trial sessions at the European annual meeting for interventional cardiologists (Euro PCR, Paris 2013). The study showed that in up to 26% of cases interpretation of the angiogram and subsequent management was changed by the use of the pressure wire technique. A larger trial is being planned.
