How to get to us...
Southampton Spire Hospital is conveniently located with excellent links to Hampshire, the New Forest, the Isle of Wight, London, the Channel Islands and surrounding counties. Southampton Airport is only a 20 minute taxi ride with regular services to the channel islands and other UK airports. There are also excellent links to the Isle of Wight with the fast passenger Red Jet service and Red Funnel Car Ferries. Wessex Cardiology facilities are located on the first floor of Southampton Spire Hospital.
by road
There is free parking at the Southampton Spire Hospital for patients. The hospital is easily reached by car and only a 10-15 minute journey from the well connected M27 and M3 motorways.
directions by car from the M3 (north)
Continue from M3 onto A33. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A33 Bassett Avenue. At the next roundabout take the second exit onto the A35 Winchester Road for 0.6 miles. At the next roundabout, take the second exit and continue along Winchester Road for a further 0.5 miles. Turn right into Dale Road. At the second mini roundabout, take the first exit onto Tremona Road. Chalybeate Close is the first turning on the left.
DIRECTIONS BY CAR FROM THE M27 (East)
Leave M27 at junction 3. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the M271 for 1.5 miles. Follow directions from the A3024 as above.
DIRECTIONS BY CAR FROM THE M27 (West)
Leave M27 at junction 3. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto the M271 towards Southampton for 1.5 miles. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A3024 for 0.6 miles, keeping in the left hand lane. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A35 Tebourba Way for 0.8 miles. Continue straight across the crossroads onto A35 Winchester Road. Take the first left onto Warren Avenue, and at the mini-roundabout take the third exit onto Tremona Road. Chalybeate Close is the second turning on the right.
By TRAIN
Southampton is well connected by rail with the Southampton Central Station, which is only a 10 minute taxi ride from the hospital. Trains to London take less than 1 hour and 20 minutes on the fast service.
by Air
Southampton Airport is pleasant user friendly airport with regular flights to destinations in the UK, Channel Islands, Ireland and many destinations in Europe. By sea
Southampton port is one of the busiest commercial ports in the UK and is a major calling port for many large cruise lines. If you are going on a cruise and would like an opinion before and/or after your return then please contact us. With regular passenger and car ferry services there are also excellent connections to the Isle of Wight, France and Spain.
